Who we are
Konsole is made by H2Code, VAT IT15572751004, 00176 Rome, Italy. You can reach us at support@konsoleapp.com. These terms apply when you use the Konsole app, your Konsole account and Konsole Pro. By creating an account you accept them.
Konsole and its plans
- Free is free, for as long as you like, within its limits (for example up to 3 sites).
- Pro removes the limits and adds the features listed on the pricing page. It is sold by the month, by the year, or once for life.
- Limits only stop new things. The sites you already have keep working on any plan, and nothing is deleted when a plan ends.
Your account
- You use Konsole with an account, on the Free plan too. It is personal: one account per person.
- Use an email address that is yours, and keep your password, or your Google account, safe. What happens with your account is your responsibility.
- A Pro license covers one person on up to 3 computers at a time. You can free a computer from the app or from your account page.
- You can delete your account at any time from its page.
- We may disable an account that breaks these terms, for example one shared among several people or used to get around the limits. We tell you why, and you can write to us.
Buying Pro
- Payments go through Stripe, which sells Pro to you as the merchant of record (Stripe Managed Payments). Stripe handles the payment, the invoice and the taxes; prices include VAT.
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew on their own until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from «Manage billing» on your account page or in the app: Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and then you are back on Free.
- A lifetime license is paid once and has no end date: it keeps working for as long as we make Konsole available.
- For a refund, write to us. As a consumer in the European Union you keep the rights the law gives you, and nothing in these terms limits them.
The free trial
- The trial gives you every Pro feature for 7 days. It starts at Stripe, which asks for a card and charges nothing during the trial.
- When the trial ends it becomes the subscription you chose, monthly or yearly, and the card is charged. To pay nothing, cancel before the end, from «Manage billing»: you keep Pro until the last day.
- There is one trial per person, per account and per computer.
What you may not do
- Resell Konsole, or licenses and accounts, without our written agreement.
- Get around the license checks or the plan limits, or help others do it.
- Take the app apart to copy it, except where the law allows it.
- Use Konsole or its servers to harm others, or overload our servers on purpose.
Your sites and other services
Your sites, their files and their databases stay on your computer, and they remain yours. Konsole downloads and runs software made by others (WordPress, PHP, databases, web servers), each under its own license. When you use a service through Konsole (your hosting, Cloudflare for Live Link, the AI provider you chose), you use it under your own agreement with that service. The privacy page says what reaches whom.
Updates and availability
We improve Konsole over time, and features may change. The app checks your plan with our server about once a day; if it can't reach it, Pro keeps working on that computer for up to 30 days. We do our best to keep the server up, but we can't promise it will never be down.
Warranty and liability
Konsole is a tool for development copies of your sites: keep backups of what matters, and check changes before you send them to a live server. The app is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or for lost data or profits, and our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to limit, such as for gross negligence, or the rights you have as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters to you, we tell you by email or in the app before the change applies. If you don't agree, you can stop using Konsole and delete your account; a subscription you cancel still runs until the end of the period you paid for.
Law and disputes
These terms follow Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country where you live, and you can go to the courts there. First, though, write to us: most problems are solved by an email.
